Roman Bronze Protome of a Bull

Hollow-cast bronze protome of a bull, naturalistically modeled with upward-curving horns, with traces of ridged bands at their base.
The animal is presented with small projecting ears, heavy-lidded eyes, whereas the muzzle, nostrils and mouth are all well defined. Presence of a dewlap indicated by a ridge running from the underside of the muzzle down between the animal's prancing forelegs.
The figurine must have been appliqué on a larger artefact, most possibly paired with a similar zoomorphic protome.
